I have a propensity to search for light that will reveal a project in an unexpected and ephemeral manner. Having been delivered to site by helicopter the simplicity of the buildings prefabricated form emerges from the shadows leaning towards the moon lit sky. Not possible during daylit hours this combination of dark and light emphasizes the juxtaposed cubes, the reflected full moon light opening the interior spaces through small, glazed elements. The stars speak to the remoteness of off grid living so common on the BC Coast.
