Recently opened, the Liverpool City Library is located within the new Liverpool Civic Place precinct in West Sydney, Australia. The library is given the name "Yellamundie" meaning the “The Story Teller” , the curvilinear design was inspired by the flow of the nearby Georges River. Designed by fjcstudio architects, it was completed in 2023. The 5,000-square-metre library features public gallery spaces for exhibitions, working stations, children’s education areas, and more than two kilometres of shelving for books and other items.
