This series captures the Antwerp Stock Exchange, photographed a decade before its latest renovation. Jos Schadde’s 1872 neo-Gothic design rises in pointed arches, delicate stone tracery, and slender cast-iron columns beneath a luminous glass roof. The images reveal both architectural grandeur and the subtle decay of weathered surfaces, shadows, and worn details, offering a raw, textured glimpse into 19th-century craftsmanship before restoration breathed it back to life.
