Frank Gehry conceived the Louis Vuitton Foundation as a vessel: glass sails swelling against the sky. However dynamic its design, it remains still - it cannot sail. This photograph set out to visually express the architectural intention behind the building. Using multiple exposures, the clouds become a sea crashing against the structure - setting the building in motion, finally sailing.
