Brian Riedel 2026
One camera, one lens, confined to the line, those were my parameters. Worked the way a street photographer walks 42nd Street, frame by frame down a path built by industry, abandoned to rust, and redeemed by nature before anyone thought to save it. Freight cars once fed industry along Manhattan's west side; wildflowers overtook what the rail bed that was left behind. Belief arrived, reviving not just a park but the neighborhoods already there, grown stronger around it. The buildings are the actors here, the people the scenery, their interactions still hold power in the curiosities of society.
