This project asks how architecture can transform our experience of wetlands from distant observation into direct participation. Visitors touch and harvest reeds, rest at the water’s edge, and encounter the rhythms of tides and migratory birds. The harvested reeds are woven into architectural components, which caretakers periodically replace as part of an ongoing cycle. As the wetland shifts over time, the architecture gradually moves beyond human use. Its remaining frame supports vegetation and wildlife, eventually becoming an ecological platform and part of the land itself.
