Sensory Recalibration proposes an urban infrastructure for sensory recovery in Noryangjin, Seoul, where railways, roads, dense development, and the Han River create contrasting conditions of stimulation and nature. The project filters urban stimuli through a sequence of separation, descent, purification, tactile experience, and ascent. Two landscape-like masses frame a sunken [OFF] courtyard, while material, light, water, and level changes recalibrate perception before users return to the city with renewed senses.
