Monument in Motion

Transcending its functional role as a transit hub, the railway station mirrors the emotional profundity of a memorial space, serving as a stage where the perpetual cycle of farewells and reunions is continuously enacted through movement. Rather than treating memorial and transit as separate programs, this project merges them into a single spatial system, creating a new typology of monument space-one that exists in motion. It becomes a place where the past is remembered not through isolation or stillness, but through coexistence with everyday life.
