Projecting branching scenarios to adapt, negotiate, and yield.
Located at Bang Khun Thian’s eroding coastline, this project redefines landscape architecture in an era of climatic uncertainty. Guided by Liminality, it investigates branching futures for a coastline in crisis. Moving beyond the 'Same Persistence' of continuous resistance, the project operates across three spatial scales to propose design scenarios that actively coexist or strategically yield. Culminating in amphibious settlements designed to breathe with the dynamics, the work argues that true resilience is found not in rigid control, but in learning when to adapt, negotiate, and yield.
