Urban Wildness Rebirth applies a 4C model—Carbon, Chain, Cores, Co-existence—to rewild Tolworth Court Farm Fields in Kingston upon Thames, London. Facing habitat fragmentation, soil carbon loss and low public engagement, the design restores grassland, wetland, forest and farmland habitats as interconnected carbon sinks. Contoured streamlines reconnect the blue-green network while outdoor classrooms, bird-watching platforms and community programmes foster long-term human–nature coexistence, reversing biodiversity decline and reducing urban carbon emissions toward 2050.
