This photographic study at At-Turaif, a historic district in Saudi Arabia examines the interplay of ‘Najdi’ style mud brick architecture, light and time. Rather than documenting its historic exterior solely as heritage, the series studies how light activates its spatial and material qualities. Sharp shadows carve interesting compositions, while changing light throughout the day reveals the earthen surfaces and textures.
