The University building hidden under a hill.

At the edge of Taichung’s old town, a green campus fully integrated with the landscape was designed. The ground gradually transforms into architecture, and through a gradational green design, the dynamics of this transformation can be experienced. Not only in section but also in plan, diagonal geometries intersect to create courtyards with a variety of perspectival visual effects. While taking the form of a courtyard type, the result is an open and active campus that inverts conventional perspectives.
