The project is led by GALA ARCHITECTS in collaboration with CE-A Studio Architecture, aiming to create a forested sports themed park in Chengdu, China. Inspired by the roots of the place, Vibrant Island employs an organic layout that mimics natural landforms, targeting to preserve its natural heritage while integrating with the city's cultural identity and recreational needs. This initiative promotes physical and mental well-being through sports, blending the park with its historical context and the untouched Qingcheng mountains, which becomes a vital ecological asset, and a vivid oasis.
