Creating a hotel which reflects the essence of real Kyoto was one of our motivation. As the number of hotel room has increased 400% since 2012 that majorities are focused more on its capacity which did not have the local culture nor history. Therefore we felt an urge to create a place where tourists can experience traditional accommodation of Kyoto with the locals. By creating with the locals, the hotel activates the local economic system which neighbours was looking for. Intertwining exterior and interior especially placing inner garden in every room makes this brand established.
