The project, a museum of Etruscan pieces in the core of Milan, entails the rehabilitation of an existing 3 floors building and the enlargement, underground, of an exhibition area open to the public. The concept refers to the hypogean Etruscan tombs, characterized by three domes that generate an underground suspended and mystic atmosphere. The cladding is composed by stone slabs modelled in 3d and cut one by one, mounted on a metal structure and spaced 5 cm to allow the air circulation within the integrated air plants. In-depth research was dedicated to acoustic well-being.
