Six Hundred is an urban mixed use project which helps connect two parts of Charlottesville, revitalizes two historic structures, and contributes to the artistic energy of the neighborhood. It has 53 apartments, art gallery, lobby, courtyard, underground parking and a coffee shop. The renovated historic buildings house a diner and a wine shop with offices/apartments above. The owners envisioned an forward-thinking urban building for the city and the result is unapologetically-modern. Through the use of materials, scale and detailing it fits thoughtfully into the downtown historic district.
