The apartment is integrated into a building originally designed as a Hotel Particulier in what was the social floor. The focus of the design program was on the maintenance and restoration of the architectural heritage of the property, whilst transforming it to cater to the new family. The intervention needed to be silent, and therefore, timeless 21st furniture pieces were chosen to effortlessly blend with the 18th-century original grandeur.To start the architect did a carefull research of the building's history as well as the architecture era it illustrates.
