The Giving Tree is a renovation project for an interior design office carried out by the company itself. It used to be a 43-year-old first-story corner house with ramshackle interior and exterior. What’s more, there was previously squatted land protruding from the street corner. Upon purchasing the unit, the new owner suddenly had an urge to give the appropriated land back to the public and make the space friendly to everyone. This transformation was inspired by the imagery of a child and an elderly man sitting in the shade of a tree enjoying its coolness.
