Biripi Clinic unifies the existing health buildings and, in the absence of other public buildings, provides a community hub to place wellbeing at the centre of the community. Additional clinical space enables visiting specialists and allied health professionals to broaden the reach and quality of health delivery. The building wraps around the jacaranda tree to form a safe, secluded courtyard creating an outdoor waiting area /community meeting space. The tree is of significance to the community as a place for ceremony/meeting, reinforcing the building as a health-focused community hub.
