Runway is a mobile pop-up pavilion for the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara to bring art to underrepresented neighborhoods. The pavilion consists of 3 self-similar objects that are designed to blur into the famously foggy, hazy environment of the region. The orientation and composition of the collection is intended to be rearranged at each site, allowing for a variety of programs to be supported by the pavilion, while also a unique urban icon and space at each site. The project has thus far been moved to 8 different underserved sites in various Santa Barbara-area communities.
