The 10,000 hectares Zhuhai National Park is located in the region of Chishui, in South-West China, and it is characterized by the unique presence of the so-called Bamboo Sea. The park gateway, designed as a dense assembly of vertical lines, is hidden in the Bamboo Sea and interacts with the particular weather conditions of the area. A water pond, built under the gate, helps create fog due to the differing temperatures. A tiny tea pavilion, located deeper inside the forest, becomes a sort of rest area before entering the long boardwalk which guides visitors to the very heart of the Bamboo Sea.
