The Makerstudio — a renovation of two studios, an office, and an enlarged corridor — was designed as an open, dynamic, and adaptive space to foster collaboration and shared creativity across disciplines. The design of the Makerstudio included stripping away banal finishes to expose a 109-year-old stone and timber structure, providing a rich sense of materiality, while the white perimeter walls are dominated by fifteen large windows and a 4' band of wool-wrapped pinup panels.
