Our work is about the renovation and the extension of an abandoned house in Hauts-de-Seine, France. Besides maintaining its initial architecture, we decided to extend the house and open it in a space surrounded by the garden. The existing materials inspire the minimalism of the extension made of glass and metal. The kitchen unifies the two living spaces, between tradition and modernity, while the stairs lead to the bedrooms. The green roof reinforces the green and organic presence of the extension. The dualism between modern and old materials perfectly defines the uniqueness of the architecture.
