This nursery is built in a new town development area in Osaka. There are many housing estates, which people used to build a close relationship with each other but, due to changing times, those communities have now disappeared. in order to tell the history of their own neighborhood to children, the building mass was conceptualized as reminiscent of a housing estate — to become the new central hub of the surrounding community. Also, to further strengthen the communication, we planned the layout to maximize visual accessibility and create more chances to communicate between inside and outside.
