Yuansu Hot Spring Resort is situated in Wuyi in the central part of Zhejiang Province. CLOU architects were tasked with designing the 15000 sqm boutique mountain resort, which includes over 80 villas. Their challenge was to find a response to the dual task of creating a lively destination without disturbing the calm of its natural surroundings. The positioning of buildings follows the flow of water along the valleys. The masterplan explores the parallel relationship of architecture and water, offering a bodily and profound experience to the guests.
