Kerman is largely a historic city, where citizens are always entangled within traditions, rules and restrictions; the monument was designed to symbolize the freedom from these exact limitations. This monument is set in the heart of the city to create a passage from the traditional and historic part to the modern, more liberated, section. It is a path to a better future; "The Gate of Liberation".
