The Tourist Center is located in Chetian Village, famous for its stone houses built with the local blue-stone. L-shape bands run parallel in the design of the center, according to the traditional village architectural style. The interiors are characterized by the use of concrete and local stone, which show architects' deep respect for the village’s historical masonry traditions. In the main halls, floor-wall decorations are inspired by the old irrigating system and guide visitors through the exhibition areas. The tourist center’s main function is to illustrate local history and traditions.
