The lofty gallery is overlooked by a mezzanine for ancillary work spaces, from which the seismically upgraded historic masonry shell and gable roof are fully visible. The building’s strong symmetry is reinforced by a central stair and a continuous line of skylights along the building ridge, illuminating the architectural elements of wood salvaged from the original building.
