The project seeks inspirations from the Butterfly Lake, the core landscape of Qidong City, by extracting the shape of the butterfly. As the fluttering butterfly wings echo the size of the twin towers, the building towers beside the lake like a three-dimensional butterfly, symbolic of the city greeting the first dawn in the east, and ready to take wings of development on the global stage like a butterfly. In addition to integration of the public cultural facilities and natural resources of the large landscape of the Butterfly Lake area, and connecting the local roads into a system.
