This house is quite simply a world apart; a world of nature of its own. On a surprisingly constrained site, it looks with wide open eyes that capture and give light in equal measure, in a happy equilibrium that fosters peace and calm and offers an urban retreat for the senses. The house itself maximizes volumes of space that often flow into one another, changing musical key and tone as they go. Whilst there is a facade —an external skin— both external and internal rooms can be smoothly moved between, from one to another; a hidden courtyard, or the roof terrace that no-one would know was there.
