Xili Integrated Transport Hub is a significant national railway hub that enhances the core area transport infrastructure of Shenzhen, connecting the Greater Bay Area. The project is a large-scale high density TOD, maximizing the development value in a unique arrangement. The project presents major design challenges, requiring careful consideration of both urban and human scales. Our ambition is to harmoniously integrate the urban nature of the city with the station, pioneering a transport-city design, that will act as a new typology and precedent for future high density TODs around the world.
