As one of the theme pavilions in Taiwan’s World Flora Exposition, the “Bamboo Pavilion” corresponds to the global design trend of reducing carbon footprint, symbolizing the vision to the livable city and design capital. Based on the shapes of the Central Mountain Range and seeds, signifying sustainable and eternal growth, the design plan of Bamboo Pavilion comprehensively applies bamboo-specific skills and has been extraordinarily successful in the integration of bamboo, rattan weaving and traditional masonry techniques that demonstrate the aesthetic structures and oriental authenticity.
