Located on Floor B2 of CapitaMall Taiyanggong, Beijing, the Lily Nails Salon occupies an area of 153 m2, consisting of both open and private manicure areas, a beauty room and a staff room, with 18 seats in total. The project was approached by applying the imagery of a forest. On the basis of grid topology, designers arranged 5 tree-shaped structures of different sizes in the open manicure area, thereby creating 4 separate spaces under the “trees”. In this way, it not only ensures the openness but also enriches the spatial experience.
