A pied-à-terre in the heart of West Village in New York City. The studio was transformed into a one-bedroom going through a full gut renovation. Everything in the space down to the raw framing was replaced, including pipes and plumbing, electric, walls, floors, appliances and everything in-between. The layout was maximized by opening up the space and creating three distinctive areas ranging from the most public into the most private - living room, kitchen and bedroom/bathroom. The result is a bright space that feels bigger than the actual size with substantial storage and quality of life.
