PLAZA + PLAZA seeks to reinterprete the Market Square of Doce de Octubre as a civic square integrated with the space under the bridge of 72nd Street in Bogotá, Colombia. The project looks to activate new borders and cultural uses, inside the market square and under the bridge giving back the existing public space to the community. With the rapid growth of Bogotá, neighborhoods such as the Doce de Octubre were created, which, due to the lack of planning, presents a great lack of public space making the few ones as the Market Square residual and not appropriated by the community.
