Poverty in Metropolis? With many rivers running through New York City, bridges have become an indispensable element of the city, undoubtedly. In order to provide those homeless people a place with safety and tidiness, one of the proper ways is to utilize the unused spaces under the bridges. However, those piers of bridges scattered along the rivers come in various sizes, so an executable method to tackle the problem is to turn the congregate shelters into different units. With those “Basic Units”, temporary shelters could adapt to different lengths, widths, and heights of bridges and piers.
