This social housing design aims to reproduce the local rice culture and history. The “sharing lifestyle” and “sharing entertainment” are expected to be created between the new residence and local residence. Furthermore, to attract tourists to participate with these new lifestyles is important too. Thousands of ponds and hills in Taoyuan is the main feature of nature, and this unusual landscape is used as the principal axis of this social housing design. Through the combination of organic form (public area) and module form (living area) to achieve the flexible utilization of space.
