Located in Chengdu, China, this project is an exploration of future workspace based on the client's “New future working style” concept. As a co-working space, it took compartments as “rooms”, and corridors as “alleys”, with "alleys" linking various areas closely. Walls of some areas were specially clad in writable baked painted glass, which serves as a medium for communication. The design concept was derived from the “alley” culture represented in Chengdu. The “alleys” in the workspace were formed by cutting the functional areas, which interpreted traditional culture in a modern manner.
