In 2018, balbek bureau was commissioned to transform a former arsenal into a modern food hall. Although the architectural complex is located in the heart of Ukrainian capital, for decades it was neglected and had fallen into disrepair. The challenge facing the team was trifold: firstly, the project had to conform to technical standards and requirements of working with historically important buildings; secondly, the implementation had to be continuously coordinated between teams; lastly, it had to be completed within one year.
