The spectacular initial space with its 25-foot-high ceilings provided perilous accesses to the two existing mezzanines. The first intervention was therefore to fix circulation by introducing two new staircases. The space was then wrapped in a white metallic scarf made of aluminum grating. The scarf first covers the staircase leading to the first mezzanine, becomes its railing, extends itself to the second staircase which it follows before plunging back down to wrap the majestic luminaire-bookshelf. The height-access system is made out of standard aluminum ladders painted white.
