«Prison» deals with life in confinement – with emphasis on detention conditions, exclusion, but also reintegration and role of the judicial system. The multifaceted scenography examines the inside and outside world. In the orange cells, topics regarding life in prison are dealt with. They are surrounded by green walls, representing the outside world, and nature, where historical, philosophical, anthropological and sociological aspects of incarceration show the ambivalent reality of detention and possible alternatives to authoritarian and antiquated punitive systems.
