The space served as a marketing suite for a residential complex. The studio was tasked to design a series of spaces to convey the identity of the new development - a modern Siheyuan (courtyard house). Reinterpreting Chinese vernacular architecture, the design highlights traditional beauty through rustic materials in a minimalist approach. Visitors’ journey begins at a dramatic pathway, where a timber framework meets a composition of Chinese brickwork and concrete panels cast in bamboo form. This pathway leads to an indoor garden and theater space, where two art pieces take center stage.
