The project is located in Chongqing, on a mountainous terrain along Jialing River, within the heart of the innovation and high-tech industry development zone. Over time the area has undergone dramatic redevelopment, causing adverse impacts on the natural environment, built environment and socio-cultural experience. The proposal focuses on sustainable development strategies, which includes reconnecting the city with mountain and river, introducing smart city technology, and reimagining the single-use tech district as a vibrant hub with local characteristics, where people can live, work and play
