This is a rowing centre project located on the reservoir next to the Klang Gates Dam in Malaysia. The main long massing features a 20m hanging floor structure cantilevered above water, sheltering a viewing stand underneath, whereas a rowing shell storage & exhibition zone sit right beside it. In addition, a long promenade that runs through the site is designed for social gathering and race watching. Located in a tropical rainforest climate, louvres are incorporated for better ventilation, the roof is slanted for the rain to slide off, whilst the training area is above water for better cooling.
