In Jaipur, street markets are in line with Indian people’s shopping habits. However, the reality is that these markets are very crowded and lack permanent building structures and necessary facilities. In response to these issues, the project is positioned as a prototype integrated market. A series of adaptive prefabricated modules with different possibilities of openings are occupied in two typical test sites, one in the corner, and another one in the linear street. The market could be an inside world, providing services to all kinds of users, all in one place, without care of the traffic.
