The project proposes a new programmed connective Cultural Spine for a historical village in Saudi Arabia called Ramada, “Saudi Highlands”. It is a village shaped by unique mountainous terrain. known for its natural scenic atmosphere, fog, and architecture of military-style. Today Ramada village is facing cultural, infrastructural, and environmental problems. The architectural intervention rests at the intersection between preservation and progress. Concerning Preservation, the architecture proposes a landscape-based approach. Concerning progress, the architecture proposes Adventure tourism.
