This project is a retrofitting proposal that settles local water pollution issue and explore the recreational value of water as public assets. The proposal provides a dynamic vision as part of the waterfront of Toronto where multi-functional water infrastructures meet projected community needs. The phasing strategy balances the demands on quick connections to surrounding neighborhoods and the necessary preservation of natural habitats. The recreation value and ecological value are combined to celebrate water characteristics, echoing cultural relevance of the site.
