The Synthesis 3D team uses a large format 3D printer to produce intricate furniture molds made from various recycled plastics. These molds are then used to make each of the unique pieces in the furniture collection, by pouring a variety of proprietary concrete mixes into the forms, depending upon the desired piece. The furniture pieces range from a béton brut finish to any number of vibrant color coatings in the collection. With Synthesis 3D’s patented modeling programs, the user can even interact with the size, shape, texture and pattern of a design, even before it is printed.
