Groundwork was commissioned by Link REIT in 2021 - to work on an approximate 1200 sq. m placemaking project at Lok Fu Place Food Plaza. The location is adjacent to Lion Rock, a significant landmark in Hong Kong. The plaza itself was a common ground for the dense residential community in Lok Fu. This placemaking project is to further amplify the magnetic function of drawing people together. We renovated the courtyard with the glamping hiking theme. The spotlight of this placemaking is the large interactive inflatable art installation, using the shape of the Lion Rock peak as its blueprint.
