Shanghai City Train Station is the only station that located at the very heart of the city for more nearly 100 years, however, the station needs to be renovated as soon as possible, as the facilities, traffic, and buildings are getting problems. The proposal revaluates the current demands of the users to create high-standard environment. The design changes the traffic flow to 3-dimension, connecting the underground space and the second-floor corridor,then create a new walking-path from station to a historical spot and waterfront adjacent to it, and lots of activites are set on the square.
